Do you know that you were made? You didn’t just happen; you were created, formed, made to be, by God. You were designed by God not to live an unfulfilled and undignified life: you were created to amount to something; you were created to fulfill a purpose on the earth.
To create is to cause to exist, to bring something into being that has never been before; it also means to produce through artistic or imaginative effort. It can also connote using what is within you to obtain what has not been seen. Genesis 1:27 helps us to understand this. It says: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. If God created man in His own image, it means that man was created with the ability to create (just as God could).
This week, I will be teaching on Creating Excitement At Home.
Creating an excitement at home is one major thing lacking in today’s families. Laughter is far from them. Smiling is a problem for them! They never see the need to express joy and nothing is worth celebrating. But I tell you, this year will be different for you. You shall be distinguished! Every dullness and sorrow in your family will be turned into joy in Jesus’ name.
Home and family life are exciting experiences; they are not necessary evils. God delights in them. So, they are meant to be the most exciting parts of your life, as a child of God. But know that excitement or happiness doesn’t fall on you just because you are a Christian. No! You programme yourself for it! You create it!
You were created to create! You can make room for excitement in your family, so that God can reside with you. My husband, in spite of his busy schedule, finds time to play with his children. He makes humorous statements to the delight of his children. Those who know him are quite aware that he is a jolly person to be with. He is always having a joke to defuse tension, anytime he sees sad looking faces.

I would like you to know that family success is possible, but it does not happen by chance. You must programme for it, if you desire it. Nothing works until you work it! That is why the scripture says: …Every house is builded by a man … (Hebrews 3:4). You cannot build a house by merely wishing it. The same way, you cannot have an exciting home except you work it out.
The law of creation forbids things happening by themselves; they must be made to happen. God’s Word says: …God created the heaven and the earth (Genesis 1:1). Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool… (Isaiah 66:1).
The power to create excitement in your home can only be given when you are born again. You become born again by confessing your sins and accepting Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. If you are ready for this new birth experience, please say this prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner, so I cannot help myself. Forgive me of my sins. Cleanse me with Your blood. Deliver me from the power of sin and satan to serve the Living God. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for making me your child. Now, I know I am born again.
