Ask the Lord for the right route
Preamble
The things God has planned and prepared for you to enjoy and experience this year, will require you to follow a specific ROUTE or path. And God is the only one that knows this route. Jeremiah reminds us that it is not within the power of any man to successfully map out and plan the course of his life (see Jeremiah 10:23). God is not experimenting with options He knows they way. The Lord says emphatically, "I will show you the pathway of life" (see Psalm 16:11). The same way He gave directions to the children of Israel, on their way to Canaan. The Lord is set to do same for you this year.
Nehemiah 9:19 (message bible)
" You in your amazing compassion didn't walk off and leave them in the desert. The Pillar of Cloud didn't leave them; daily it continued to show them their route; The Pillar of Fire did the same by night,
showed them the right way to go."
Every desire for a change in your life, requires you to follow a certain route. There is no other way around it. God has the information concerning the particular route that will guarantee you safe passage to the fulfillment of your desires. To pursue human idea as an option to divine direction, will leave you stranded mid way into your journey.(see 2 Kings 3:8-9).
God's route on any matter will frustrate the enemy's plan. The wise men that came to visit Jesus, outwitted Herod's evil plans, after they received directions from God (see Matthew 2:12). That will be your story this year as you follow God's direction for your relationship, finances, career pursuit, business, marriage and ministry. You will outwit every plan of the enemy to sabotage your progress. So do not bother yourself about the enemy's plan. It is not and issue, when you know God's route.
It is time to press on for divine direction. God is eagerly waiting to disclose to you divine directions this year that will deliver results regardless of the state of the economy. There is no substitute for direction.
Prayer
Lord, I ask for clarity on the route to take that will bring about the changes I desire to see in my life.
Ponder on this "I will show you the pathway of life" (see Psalm 16:11).
